This is a great school. I original sent my children to a private school and then decided to attend the PTO meetings at my local public school. I was so impressed witht the level of committment from the PTO. I asked many questions and finally decided to make the switch from private to public. I have not been disappointed. The gifted and talented program at this school is outstanding. The teachers are dedicated and very experienced. I would recommend this local school to all my neighbors.

Kirk Elementary Hosts 'Meet Your Teacher Night'

All new and returning Kirk Tigers are encouraged to bring their families to school on Thursday, August 21, 2008 to meet your new teacher and see your new classroom. This is also a great opportunity to meet fellow students and parents that we will work closely with throughout the coming school year. Additionally, there will be opportunities to find out about Kirk's Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and how you can get involved with your child's school. The Kirk Spirit Cart will also be open and you can purchase items that show your Tiger pride! Come on out and get ready to go back to school. The schedule for the evening is as follows:

5:30 pm - PreK and Kindergarten
6:00 pm - 2nd and 3rd Grades
6:30 pm - 1st Grade
7:00 pm - 4th and 5th Grades
